What does it cost to join?
BSA charges an annual membership fee. The pack may collect dues for activities, supplies, and events. Contact us for current rates — we work to keep costs reasonable for every family.
My son has never camped. Is that okay?
Absolutely. Most Scouts start with zero outdoor experience. The dens build skills gradually, and there are always experienced leaders on hand. First campout jitters are totally normal.
What should we bring to the first meeting?
Just yourselves. Wear comfortable clothes and closed-toed shoes. We'll give you a full packing list and uniform information after your first visit.
What's the time commitment?
Den meetings are typically once a week. Pack meetings happen monthly. Campouts and service projects are scheduled throughout the year — most are optional but highly recommended.
